Dear Program Provider,
Exciting news! In an effort to provide our parents with more valuable school and community resources, Port Townsend School District will begin sending flyers to parents digitally starting on March 17, 2020 through a service called Peachjar. Parents will receive flyers as actionable images in their inbox and can click to immediately take action. Additionally, all approved flyers will be posted to the school’s web flyerboard.
Distributing your flyer through Peachjar is easy! After March 17, you can register at
www.peachjar.com as a program provider and select your school(s) for distribution. Include call-to-action buttons like “Register Now” or “Learn More”. At checkout, Peachjar will charge a small fee to submit your PDF flyer. Once your flyer is approved by the district, it will be emailed to parents and posted to each school’s website. Parents can view your flyer on the go, share on social media or send it to a friend – you can even view metrics to see how your flyer is performing.

Local community organizations promoting free events or activities that do not entice participants to join a fee-based program or purchase products or services may be eligible for a fee waiver. Learn more about the

Important Flyer Distribution Procedure Change: After March 17, 2020 Port Townsend School will no longer be distributing paper flyers in our schools, so please plan accordingly. After a digital flyer is submitted to Peach Jar and approved by the District, copies (up to 25) may be sent or brought to the District Office. Copies must be packaged in individual envelopes labeled with each school’s name. The District Office will distribute the materials to schools. The materials may then be made available in a central location designated by the principal at each school. It is up to the nonprofit organization to provide all copies of the materials. Paper flyer copies will continue to need the disclaimer statement. Flyers submitted digitally do not need to contain the disclaimer statement, as this will be added digitally.
