Applications are now available for the 2022-23 school year for students in grades 6-12. Students applying after 9/13/22 will be accepted only as space is available.

Application and Enrollment Steps
  1. Complete the online or paper application (return to the OCEAN School or District Office).

  2. If the student has never been enrolled in the Port Townsend School District follow the New Student Enrollment Steps. Current or formally enrolled students DO NOT need to complete this step.

  3. Someone from the school will contact you when enrollment is confirmed, or to follow up with additional questions about the application. During the month of July it may take about a week to process new applications.

Part Time Enrollment 

Grades 6-12: Full time enrollment is given priority. A minimum of 0.5 FTE (3 courses) is required, and will be enrolled as space is available.

Students already enrolled in OCEAN do not need to meet the 0.5 FTE requirement or apply separately. Contact your teacher to enroll in courses online.

Out of District and Non-Resident Students
There is limited space for non-resident students in the Online Program. Complete the online or paper application. We will follow up and let you know if there is space available and provide you with the next steps for a Choice Transfer Request. This includes students who currently attend other schools in the district through a Choice Transfer Request. Due to OSPI rules there are limited spaces available for non-resident students in Single District Online School Programs.
