Blue Heron Prepares for Incoming 4th Graders and New Students

Blue Heron School announces events/activities to welcome 4th graders and new students for the 2014-15 school year.  New families and students who have been attending private school are welcome to attend all scheduled activities.  Questions may be directed to the Blue Heron office at 360-379-4540.

Open School Tour for Parents:  Visit our fabulous school on one of three dates.  See classrooms, library, support services, cafeteria, gym, technology, project, and play areas.  Tours begin at the top and bottom of each hour: 

·       Tuesday, April 22, 9:00-10:00 AM 

·       Thursday, April 24, 1:30-2:30 PM

·       Tuesday, May 13, 9:00-10:00 AM

Provide Parent Input to Blue Heron Principal and staff about your child to help us create our 4th and 5th grade classroom communities next year.  Parent Input Forms are due on Friday, May 16.  Pick up the form at Blue Heron School office, or download here Parental Input Form 

Moving-Up Day Orientation for current 3rd grade students and parents on Tuesday, June 3 from 10:00-11:00 AM.  School buses will transport Grant Street students to Blue Heron on that day.  Parents should meet their child at Blue Heron.  New students from other schools should arrive at Blue Heron by 10:00 AM.
