Welcome to OCEAN!

Port Townsend's OCEAN K-12 Program
(Opportunity, Community, Experience, Academics, Navigation)
hike
is an independent study Alternative Learning Experience program for students in grade K-12 supported with classroom, experiential and expeditionary experiences, and connections with parents and the community. We strive to meet students' academic needs through their interests, passions and families.

Our school helps students meet the requirements of Washington State's academic expectations and Port Townsend High School graduation requirements, while following the state's public school Alternative Learning Experience WACs (rules).
