The Instructional Materials Committee (IMC) is a group consisting of teachers, parents/community members, administrators and the district librarian that is "formed to establish and monitor such procedures as may be necessary for the selecting, adopting and discarding of instructional materials owned and used by the district." (District Policy 2020/2020P)

The committee reviews the instructional materials that have been selected by building/district staff before it is brought forward for adoption by the school board.  Material up for adoption is available for public review in the district board room at 450 Fir Street, Port Townsend, WA 98368 as per policy guidelines.
