"Learning Through a Sense of Place"

Port Townsend is a great place to live, work, raise a family and enjoy numerous recreational activities.  The community is very supportive of the Port Townsend School District providing enriching activities through Centrum, the Northwest Maritime Center and Wooden Boat Foundation, Building Futures (formerly Big Brothers and Big Sisters), the YMCA, Jefferson County Parks and Recreation, PTA, the Port Townsend Education Foundation, and various other youth oriented activities and clubs.

The District had an annual average full-time equivalent (FTE) enrollment for the 2021-22 school year of 1,190.
