- Blue Heron is on a journey! There is a road map for our journey. The road map is not intended to suggest rigid timetables, step-by-step directions to which you must faithfully adhere, or even a linear approach. On the other hand, some critical issues must ultimately be addressed if the journey is to proceed in a purposeful direction. We are on that journey at Blue Heron! Four essential questions I have asked all staff to consider along the Blue Heron journey this year include: (1) What should each student know [LEARN] and be able to do?; (2) How will we know if they have learned?; (3) What will we do if they don't learn?; and (4) What will we do if they already know [LEARNED] it?
- Parents, check out the school online calendar - the link is located at the far left bottom column of this page. You will find important events posted for each month.
