Welcome to Mr. Sanford's website. It is my hope that students will use this site to enhance their learning in U.S. Studies. The site will be updated on a regular basis, so check it out! This year is my 10th year teaching at Port Townsend High School having taught Washington State History, World History and U.S. History as well as Algebra I, 9th grade P.E. and Weight Training. I have been the track and field coach for over 15 years and have recently retired from coaching cross country although I still enjoy watching our team. I am also the Junior class advisor. This year I hope to take numerous junior to Washington D.C. on the final week of school in June through the Close-Up program. On another note, one of my favorite pass times is flyfishing in the Olympics. Below are pics this past summer fishing the upper Elwha River.
