Upcoming 2011/2012 Band Performances: 

Thursday, May 17 -- 5th grade band marches in the Pet Parade uptown on Lawrence Street. Meet at the Fire Station at 4:10.
 
Friday, May 18 -- Blue Heron Concert Band marches in the Kiddies Parade. Meet at the Community Recreation Center on Lawrence Street at 3:00 with your instrument, wearing your PT Band T-shirt and blue jeans.
 
Saturday, May 19 -- High School Band and Blue Heron 7/8 grade Wind Ensemble will each march as separate bands in the Rhododendron Festival Grand Parade. High School Band meet at the PTHS Band Room at 11:45, Blue Heron Band meet at the PTHS Band Room at 12:00 noon.
 
Thursday, May 24, 6:30 p.m. -- 5th Grade Band Concert in the Blue Heron Commons (students report at 6:10)
 
Thursday, May 31, 7:00 p.m. -- High School Band and Orcestra Concert
 
Tuesday, June 5, 6:30 p.m. -- 4th Grade musical performance of The Principal and the Pea (students report at 6:10)
 
Friday, June 8 -- High School Band and Orchestra perform at PTHS Graduation at Fort Worden
 
 
Congratulations to Taylor Mills who qualified for the WIAA State Solo Contest to be held April 28th at the CWU campus in Ellensburg. Taylor won the French horn division of the regional solo contest at Port Angeles H.S. on March 17th. Renada Walcome was an alternate for state in the piano division.

High School Jazz Ensemble meets Monday and Wednesday at 7:00 a.m. in the H.S. Band Room.
